International Tie-ups Industrial training plays a significant role in shaping the career of professionals. We are proud to mention that the Institute sponsors talented students of various disciplines for industrial training abroad every year. The philanthropist members of the Management interact with the authorities abroad and make all necessary arrangements for sponsoring trainees. Every year the meritorious students are sent to get trained in the USA, UK Sweden and Germany. The institute also arranges faculty and student exchange programmes with developing and developed countries. Mr. Yong K. Kim, Ph. D., C Text FTI from University of Massachusetts, Darmouth.I.T., USA was at PIET who provided important insights into the future directions of textile study and research to the students.             The seasoned and experienced members of the staff escort the students to the companies which are universally acclaimed for their quality products and research & development centers. The Institute’s major objective is to produce highly competent professionals who can cope with the emerging technologies in this global world.
